Most agencies that are unhappy with their billing company stay anyway. Not because they like it, but because switching sounds like months of chaos and lost revenue.
It does not have to be. Here is what it actually looks like when you move to Lifeline Revenue.
The steps
- Technical setup. We connect to your ePCR and CAD, and get our team credentialed in your systems.
- Billing rules. Your fee schedule, local payer rules, and agency-specific settings go into LifelineIQ.
- Payer enrollment. We file the paperwork that lists us as your billing agent with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. This is usually the longest step.
- Test claims. We send test batches through the clearinghouse and check every rule before anything real goes out.
- Go-live. We set a date of service takeover. Calls on or after that date are ours. Your previous vendor finishes the ones before it.
Most transitions take about 30 to 45 days. We meet with your team every week until handover, so nothing falls between the cracks.
What we need from you
A point person who can answer questions, access to your ePCR, and a little patience during enrollment. That is mostly it.
The part people worry about
Yes, cash flow can wobble for a few weeks while payers process the enrollment change. We plan for that up front and tell you what to expect, so it is not a surprise.
